Holmes Mechanical designed and constructed a Propane-Air System capable of delivering up to 56 MMBtu/Hr at 30 psig.
The system consisted of:
• One 30,000 gallon above ground ASME Propane Storage Tank
• Packaged Liquid Propane Pump System & Combination Vaporizor
• Propane-Air Blender Atlas Copco model GA45-100 Air Compressor
(capable of delivering 280 cfm of air delivered at 100 psig)
• A Central PLC Control Panel
This Propane-Air System allowed switching from natural gas to propane-air and back to natural gas without interruption of gas service.
